Green - Poem by Igor Gorchakov
As the sunlight shines on the fresh wet grass,
you can see nature flourishing in the wilderness.
You feel so gentle and filled with happiness,
while the sounds of crickets buzz all around you.
It’s the taste of watermelon sliding down your throat.
Its the sight of nature, at its best.
When the animals feel free to roam,
on the earth beneath them,
And the plants can spread there leaves,
and receive the needed sunlight.
Its the feeling of success and satisfaction,
when you have money and not just a fraction.
And as the leaves on the trees
blow in the eastwardly breeze.
And while the day comes to a freeze,
You go home and sleep with ease.
