Grim Poem by Lili Freebird

Grim

Rating: 5.0

</>Grim,
The saddest Grim,
Carrying out the voices,
Of the ones that call out,
With no outcome,
Pointless efforts of the ones that have already give their all,
To this cause,
The cause that everyone believes is right,
But in reality,
The cause which turns away our lifes,
And makes them into something else,
Usable and poisoness.

Grim,
The Grim filled with sorrow’s tears,
Trying to survive,
When all around is given in to this madness,
Ripping out their hair,
All that counts is falling out,
All that ever mattered is loosing the fight,
Scratching out their eyes,
Why, oh, why,
Does is never stop,
Like the dove that flew away,
But died on it ‘s way,
Never reaching it’s only purpose in life,
Never knowing what it was meant to serve as,
Because the only thing it knew was that in reality,
The cause which turns away our lifes,
And makes them into something else,
Usable and poisoness.

If a bird,
With it’s tiny brain,
Knows that this is wrong,
Then why can’t we see that everything that lingers before our eyes,
Everything that we have made with our own two hands,
Is covered with the blood of the ones we managed to torture and kill,
On the way,
Mercifully,
Merciless,
That’s the way we are,
We destroy and follow down the road,
Things that are not ours to hunt down or haunt till the end of the days,
We cut down the trees,
And kill out the animals,
Burn the shelters of the homeless,
And make money out all these crimes,
What we don’t know,
What the dove knows,
Is that the only ones were hurting,
Is ourselves.

Oh, Grim,
Oh, Grim,
Please save us all,
Please curse us all,
Do anything you wish,
As long as we are stopped.
