Grim For The Wolf Poem by Ima Ryma

Grim For The Wolf

Little Red Riding Hood did meet
A wolf while she was on her way
To her Grandma's house. Plan to eat
Both by the wolf as yummy prey
Went through the wolf's mind, and so he
Ran ahead to Grandma's house to
Get ready for his feast to be,
Quite a Grimm fairy tale, he knew.
Meanwhile, Red kept skipping along,
Anxious to see Grandma for sure.
The wolf's plan, bad for him, went wrong.
Grandma hugged Red and said to her,

'Come have a piece of my meat pie.'
'A big bad wolf just happened by.'
