Guardsmen
these poems are guardsmen
with lances and bayonets
to keep this oft wayward mind
in line and follow what it has itself
thought to be the best method
to achieving poetic justice and
perhaps eminence
what a puzzle when the brain finds
its own rules so hard to keep up with
