Habitual Liars Poem by Francis Duggan

Habitual Liars

It is easy to lie as easy as can be
But of any guilt the truth will set you free
The habitual liar has many secrets to hide
To tell the truth to them would bring shame on their pride
One lie leads to another lie with some anyway
And liars are known to tell lies every day
Con artists the trustworthy are known to deceive
And large amounts of money by lying in this way they receive
To the criminal sort lying does appeal
To them it is okay to lie for to steal
But if the law does not catch up with them which is often the case
The judgment of Karma they will have to face
With lying habitual liars does have a way
They are good at it they lie every day.
