Had I known it

Had I known it earlier?
I would have refused her
and not loved forever
if love was going to cause a flutter

I never knew that I shall be away
and stay
far away from her
and have to bother much

love for me is sacred
and leads my belief
that love is part of life
without it, it shall stand as torn strife

as lover birds
we exchanged words
words to give a healing touch
and reach the climax

now I am far off from you
and unable to meet you
it creates hell to bear
and causes frustration and fear

love should be within reach
and remain rich in spirit
there should be space to see each other
and offer cordiality
