Haiku Poem by William F Dougherty

Haiku

Rating: 4.4

A screen door claps shut—
bouncing under a porch light
chalky moths yo-yo.

Crabs in notched helmets
hoisting victory salutes
wave white-molar claws.

Glints of glassy roots:
in rows on blackened branches
silver parsnips drip.
