Haiku For The Painted Lady In The Night { A Hexad Haiku } Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

Haiku For The Painted Lady In The Night { A Hexad Haiku }

Rating: 5.0

A Modern-Contemporary Haiku
in a Hexad styled format &
w/the syllabic requirement
of Traditional Haiku Verse.

Waiting For Takers,
Dressed like a Dali Painting,
Abstract And Misplaced...

Look In Your Mirror,
Your Beauty Is Masqued by Years-
Of self-respect Lost.

Your Soul Still Shines Bright
Underneath Your Painted Guise;
You're Too Good For This...

Dangerous Night Work
Sugar Daddy Says you're His;
Are You Real Estate?

I know The Real You,
You're Not That Woman in Paint
Girl, Take Off The Masque.

Time You Walk Away
From Dark Corners and
Never, Ever Look Back.

Soul ever shines with brightness of love and peace. The values are eternally inherited from God. Very beautiful series of haikus shared are heart touching my friend.10
