Haiku For Wits

Conveniently,
Shakespeare could be spelled ShaXpeare
without loss of sense.

It put Will in his
place. You see his father signed
his name with a cross.

O, he, John, could write
as well as the next; but X
was so much faster.

John was a glover,
(tanner too?)Maybe a sore-
handed businessman.

Aloha and Cheers Douglas! The timely bit-o-humour that is missed during these pandemically panicked daze... X-men rule! All of the best from this life, to you, and to all of our relations... Michaelw1two
