Half Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Half

They were once promised to each other
For better or worse
Till death did them apart

Now they are embroiled
In a war of silence
That is ever waiting to start

Twisting their wedding rings
Pondering their fate
Shall we go on separate dates?

She is with another
And he has a love other
Oh dear this is such a bother

What if this
Was just all in the head
Just mere excuses for a vacant bed

They could easily repair
Life for them
Could once again be fair

Only a miracle can now
Bring things to light
And save them from their sorry plight

Either a showdown
Or an escape
This is something they have to face

Trust in the Lord
He will put everything in place
With his mighty grace
