my daughter
heated up
a slim slice pizza
usually
she adds
a little extra
like small pieces
of salami usually
she eats all hungrily
greedily eats it all
but today
a strange windfall
half the pizza
still hot
with glorious
melted garlic
butter was
in kitchen left
on a wooden
bread board
begging eat
me despite
having eaten
I happily
ate
a few
opportunist
offered
slices
in
deep tasty
mouth watering
appreciation
