Half Gone Poem by Sierra Celeste Cearns

Half Gone

Rating: 3.0

'I would walk through rain
and think not once of the cold
With tattered clothes
and shattered hopes,
my mind half gone.

Bones aching with each step,
my body too weak to feel pain.
No direction or worry,
anything to see you again.'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this in about the 6th grade, not my best work...... but for some reason it makes me emotional.
