"I know it's been a while,
But I can still feel your lips.
Parting a moment for your smile,
And closing suddenly for a kiss.

I wish I knew the color of your eyes.
Though they change every day.
I don't doubt they shine for miles,
and I guess I'm thankful the color doesn't stay.

I need more time to know you,
To study who you are.
And though you've made it quite clear we're through,
I refuse to accept that we're apart."
