Half-Moon, Venus, Blue Night Sky Poem by bill costley

Half-Moon, Venus, Blue Night Sky

half-MOON, Venus, blue night sky

with Patricia Hughes

Walking back from the big-band rehearsal/dance-party
we once again see a half-house hand of
half-MOON, Venus, on a blue night sky,
& you repeat what your little grandson asked:
'Is there a moowun, Omee? '

Such a sweet and adorable write! Love the imagery and that last line is just precious! (My daughter is a junior at Salem State University! We are neighbors!)
