Half Of A Whole Poem by Blake Lives

Half Of A Whole

You are to me as light to the sun
As water to the grand ocean
Your affection like a drug
And I the faithful addict
Radiating from your touch
Yet left wallowing with your absence
You are to me as peaks to mountains
As green is to grass
As stars to the night sky
What am I without your love?
Half a heart longing to be made whole again
