Hallelujah He Arose
Hallelujah He arose!
Triumphant praises sing
There's a glory Hallelujah
In our offering for that King
O forgiveness's rejoicing
In the song of a soul set free
Unparalleled is the love of God
Throughout all of history
Not just a babe in a manager
But a Saviour birthed that day
Virgin born Christ my Messiah
Humility in the Highest degree
No wonder hearts are broken
Upon their acknowledgement of sin
For absolute Holiness...praise God!
Dwelleth only in Him
Not one sin! ...No not one!
Was ever held against His account
Yet He took God's wrath for ours
And bore them at Calvary's Mount
Silently He took it all in
As His life was ebbing away
But still found strength to forgive a thief
Who believed on Him that day
He is our strength Hallelujah!
Amen! ...He defeated all of His foes
He showed Himself alive after three days...glory!
Hallelujah He arose! ! !
He's just but a prayer away
That's just how close He is!
Are you readyto welcome Him today
And know Salvation's bliss? ! ! !
We cannot stop from telling it
Hallelujah Christ arose!
Death has a deeper meaning now
His blood has secured our praise!
My heart pants for fellowship
With my Lord each day
For there's not a Friend like the lowly Jesus
Who can take our sin away
Take a moment to take it in
Then swiftly to your knees
Give due reverence to that One
Who hears a sinner's pleas
And offers absolute forgiveness
Hallelujah! ...Absolutely!
Hallelujah He arose!
For this sinner...me! ! !
O I wish that you could see it
That you could really see
What is the worth of living for self
In the light of eternity
Frail as dust...we are!
Fallen sinful men!
Turn your eyes upon the Lord Jesus Christ
Come and know the Great I Am!
Turn your eyes upon the Lord Jesus Christ
Come and know the Great I Am!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
