Halloween Is Here (Free Style) Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

Halloween Is Here (Free Style)

Children beware!
Halloween is here
The night is approaching
And the witches are near

Look at your right
Look at your left
The moon is shining so bright
And your heart is beating with fright

Shhhhh, you listen carefully
Foosteps are right behind you
Of sudden you can hardly breathe
You don't know where to go or what to do

Vampires and ghosts are coming out too
You start to shake in your shoes
Nothing preapared you for this scary view
You better run fast or they catch up with you

Evil witches will swallow their brew
Before this Halloween night is through
Their stew will be done by then you see
With bat's wings, toads, cockroaches, and glue too

So children beware!
This is Halloween night
All the spooks are in the loose
There's no place to hide, that's right!
