Halloween Wind Poem by Rhonda Baker

Halloween Wind

The Halloween wind starts to blow
The weatherman says 80 percent rain and snow
The covers pulled up to my head
Too ghastly out, I fear to tread
By some mystery power I head out in the rain
In the distance I hear the howl of a train
The cold I can feel to the bone
The wind try's to cover a witch's moan
Ghouls and goblins spirits fill the air
Children on a mission with only one care
CANDY, CANDY a sugar delight
Out to possess it this Halloween night
