Hammurabi Was Once King And Then His Wife Spoke Poem by Ted Sheridan

Hammurabi Was Once King And Then His Wife Spoke

Rating: 5.0

Hammurabi you devil
you sure did start some trouble
what if your wife
had been free to speak
her impeded will and mind
she'd divorce you twice
by simply repeating
'I divorce you
once of our marriage'
and 'I divorce you
secondly of the swine
you have become'
then without another thought
she would impale you on a stake
through and through
like the adulterer
and pig you were
she'd serve you up to God

So, you take down the great Hammurabi? But, living in a desert, having a hangover from all that wine...of course he was swine. This poem is so neat. Love messing with the 'greats' of history. Do one on Nebbucanezer(sic) . Would love a twist on just why he built those hanging gardens! It's a wonder this poem wasn't voted on, yet. Simple thing...100! ! Read this one people! !
