Hanoi Jane Poem by Ima Ryma

Hanoi Jane

Jane Fonda, because of her fame,
Her anti Vietnam war acts
Got her loads of press, and many claim
She should have been charged to the max
For treason, and tried for that crime,
And if found guilty, put to death.
No matter the passing of time,
No matter how much of her breath
Is spent doing Oprah and such,
Her image can never be more
Than a bad memory of much
Of pain of the Vietnam war.

Many of us live and let live,
But many of us won't forgive.
