Happens Again Poem by Adeline A Roberts

Happens Again

She can't dance today
Her heart's not the same
Like a puppy dies
Or a doctor tries
It happens again
Her heart melts away

I loved you that day
But you turned away
You didn't see my face
Not even a trace
Now I can't even sway

Just like before
I heard you call
You held my hand
Made me feel grand
That was all and all

She took you from me
You weren't even mine a degree
I really want to flee
You you you make my heart bleed
How could I ever believe
That you could make me free.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The guy who was my affectionate friend but was more affectionate to a friend of mine, a girl. I felt used or something like that, he didn't realize his affection made me fall in love and I felt really terrible for loving or liking a guy friend who already liked a girl friend of mine.. caring for them two just hurts.. and it happened all over again after I got over the first guy.
