Happy Birthday Mom Poem by Edwina Reizer

Happy Birthday Mom

Rating: 5.0

It’s March the sixth once again,
a special day for me.
It’s my mother’s birthday today
and never will there be
a forgotten memory or a time
that doesn’t bring a smile.
When I think of who she really was
I wonder at every mile
she walked while she was living.
She made you feel comfortable
and to me she was forgiving.
Never took offense to anything I said
or anything I did.
She was always in my corner
from the time I was a kid.
Anyone that knew her
loved her as I did.
Happy 98th birthday mom.
I miss you but never will I cry.
because I know that where you are
is a far better place than here.
So I’ll celebrate for you
as you add another year.

I think this is a really touching poem because a daughter wrights to her mom that died. She remembers her of all the good things she was. I can't relate to the poem because my mom didn't die, but, I think it's very hard when it happens! : -)
