Happy Birthday Nuala Taylor Poem by Francis Duggan

Happy Birthday Nuala Taylor

Happy birthday Nuala Taylor though the greeting may be late
For one in her middle thirties you do certainly look great
If I did not know what age you were I'd say you were nineteen
As you look beautiful as ever and remain a beauty queen.

I do envy husband Denis oh how lucky can one be
He's married to a lovely woman with that none could disagree
He has found himself a soul mate who will stay with him for life
And quite an attractive woman and a very faithful wife.

Happy birthday Nuala Taylor hope you've had a load of fun
And hope that this year's birthday party was your happiest ever one
And you do deserve to be happy after all life's not so bad
For when you talk of dying at fifty that turns me to feeling sad.

Happy birthday Nuala Taylor you get lovelier with age
You look more like a young girlie than one on life's middle page
You will still be here at eighty and look fresh as ever still
For there will never be a nuclear war as you insist there will.

Happy bithday Nuala Taylor there are happy days ahead
And life is for the living and you'll be forever dead
And think about the Summer and Rossbeigh and July
And blissful days beside the ocean something to look to with joy
