May this coming year be,
One of gladness for you and your family,
May you find something for which to smile.
Every day—whether joy or trial,
Be safe and bodily strong.
May your voice sound with song,
May God bless you with His peace,
That makes all troubles cease.
May you have courage this year,
And when struggles come—do not fear,
May you always have others there for you,
And a guide to instruct you in what is true.
May you live with ever alive love,
And may God above,
Grant you sight,
Of salvation's light.
