Happy Cat Poem by Lamar Cole

Happy Cat

Her mother told her that Mitch was no good.
But she went ahead and married him anyway.
Even her cat didn't like him.
It turned out that her mother and cat were right.
He was a lazy bum who let her pay all the bills.
And him taking the bill money for liquor and gambling.
It was the last straw and her cat purred happily.
When she kicked him out.
