Happy Eid Poem by shakil ahmed

Happy Eid

Happy Eid

After month of fasting
Eid comes with lots of delight
Muslim enjoys the festive jest
If the new moon appears in the night

Wearing our new cloths,
In the morning we go for prayer
Thousand people gather in the Eidga
And it appears like a crowded fair

People greet each other with hearty Salaam
And embrace each other sharing love
People remove evils from their dark souls
That pleases our God haven above

People invite each other at their home
Guests are treated with manners good
Sweets, fried rice and roasted chickens
Are generally offered as sumptuous food.

We visit our friends and relatives
To mark the moments with pleasure
Love and sympathy which we receive
Those are considered as great treasure.

It’s a special day for all of us
The day is adorned with love and care
Love showers like drops of rain
And good wisher we cordially share.
