Happy Mondays; Sad Tuesdays Poem by by her

Happy Mondays; Sad Tuesdays

Excited like a bird,
like a song you've never heard.
Monday mornings,
Singing and ringing,
Waking up excitedly,
all joys coming possibly.

Night falls at this moment in time,
The soft breeze flowing through swinging wind chimes,
A sleep that casts off,
a relationship on and off,
The world shuts down,
as your sleep goes deep and sound.

Tuesdays come and memories come shattering,
Workloads rush and they're very overwhelming,
Where was the happiness I have known from yesterday?
Oh, great I remember. Today's a different day.

Yesterday and today are visibly dissimilar,
The spirited soul just journeyed from afar, .
My wishes of consistency,
was never handed down to me.
Mondays are happy,
and Tuesdays drift so suddenly.

A drifting that inevitably comes,
A drifting I must welcome.
A drifting I never wanted to perceive,
Is the drifting that I just received.

After this long manifestation of emotions,
My heart just went through series of erosions.
I hope you'll understand my crazy disposition,
For I am in a deplorable position.
