Happy Or Sad? Poem by Little Star

It happened so quickly
Things went wonderfully from the start
All of a sudden, out of the blues
We started arguing and everything went to a stop

I could not understand
If I should be happy or sad
I was crying when you said it was over
Nothing could bring us back

I should be happy
It was freedom from torture for me
But I was sad
Because we drifted apart

Surprisingly the pain didn’t last long
My heart could have gone numb
Or it could have gone strong
Or was I glad I could return to where I once belonged
