Harassed Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Harassed

Harassed

No was not one of them
-but was there
-with the old residents
-Finnish Zine
-also with Barbara
-terribly mixed blood
-Irish and Scottish with German
-some drops…and others…

Brutal as I am
-harassed her
-while raping
-injured her

She cried
-complained
-I ignored and went on
-her tears wetting my dry face

Brutal, brutal, brutal
-yes confess:
-"That I am…"
-I have been
-have remained
-doubt can change!

Sorry bush,
-sorry my poor victim
-times and times I recall
-I swore and prayed:
-"Never harm the green…"

But could not abide it
-hell with me, my nature
-how can I kill and harm
-the nature that I love?

Today was a bush and
-tomorrow?
-do not know…
-hope nothing…no living creature!
