Harassment Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Harassment

Harassment

Look at heads with long hair
(Most of them are women.)
And the games they play
Some flat and fall down
Some bundle over head
Some make lines and braid
Some short sides; and have tail
Some Afro and fuzzy
Some are pinned or are curled.

To manage they take time
Is it hard? Is it fun?
To observe, spend time
It's movie on the run
The males too, here there
Guess to be, one percent
Grows hair; follows rules to obey
Clean up with shampoo
Rubber band, pony tail

But women are women
Chests and buts are on show
When they walk with high heels
Or even short but firm
They blow trumpets
'Look at me; I'm here.'
They use tons of makeup
Sefidab and sorkhab
‘What is this, their nature? '
'Give me your attention! '
But today they shout loud:
'My body gets what wants.'

Yet you look, they cry:
'This I call harassment.'
