Harbored
As I look from my window
Across the morning stilled harbor
Little boats lie stranded
On a shore without a sea
The morning mist
Like some great sleek ghost
With fingers spreading out touching
and caressing the empty tidewaters there
Perhaps looking for lost treasures
A lone tern
with narrow slender wings
circles the brumous October morn
In pursuit of the riches
Looking for that silvery shining gold
To light and ease up this burning feeling
The wind beneath my wings
The love that keeps pouring, it overflows

Poets coming together and writing in sync, I think that's really special. Keep it up, I look forward to more. Melvina
Excellent imagery.Three souls in tune indeed.Encore! Warmest regards, Sandra
A beautiful poetic trio with every instrument perfectly pitched and in harmony. Images of the sea and light and love intertwine like voices singing in chorus. Congratulations you three. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you Dodgy Dave for telling me about this 'trioetry' as I call it. A wonderful poem, full of visions in the mind's eye, pictures so real I can see them. And what's more important, it shows how three people from different parts of the world can get together and work in harmony. Well done JoJo, Meggie and Dave. Like Tara says, can we have more? Love, Fran xxx
