Harems Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Harems

Harems

Pushkin and Lermontov
-are samples for these lines
-they both died with gunshots
-in 'Duel'; (must of life…)
-then, when, we, the mankind
- (or maybe 'Womankind! ')
-had to bow to ‘then-laws':
- 'Man must act as rooster
-have pride, patriarch…
-and women, house's hens
-give birth, raise children…'

Therefor men could have wives
-established harems' lives…
-and women wore, took off
-pants, briefs, as ‘man wants'…
-hen always lands for men
-even if, not husband! ! !

The rules and etiquettes
-the laws and behaviours
-the food and beverage
-eating and making them
-have all changed…

Now we live like pigeons! ! !

Knocking doors for research
-found and met loneliness
-in cubes of condos and basements
-most of them were women
-twenties to forties, the young girls
-also, a-child-two with mom and no father
-no cooking, pizza to hamburger was ordered

After food, all of them
-turned to couch potatoes
-watched TV for idols, fantasies

I left them with bubbles:
- 'What, when, why can be right? '
