Hate Poem by Rowland Howells Tonye Orumbie

Hate

They dripping hate
Drooling over your lot
Spilling false promises
Under muttered oaths.

Life bears heavily on all
We bear it all with love
They come bearing arms
Beneath their bear hugs.

Wearing a straight face
Upon their wrinkled heart
Blinded by envy, urging you
Down the wrong path.

My lot might be your target
Yours are blow my aim
As your fire of hatred burns
I'll watch you die off its flame.
