Hate Dies Many Deaths Poem by Dorsey Baker

Hate Dies Many Deaths

Looking into the mirror of itself
The reflection of a monster
Coming alive
Thunders with a mournful sound
It creeps into the blood
And it begins to boil
Hungry enough
Eat the heart up
With no hesitation
Deep into the flesh
Sinks the deadly knife
Takes another life
Freedom denied
The prison sentenced to
An eternal death
