Hate Mains Kills Destroys Poem by Terence George Craddock

Hate Mains Kills Destroys

hate mains kills destroys...
we humanity are hung guilty
convicted by past testament
hate tried crimes throughout history;
across all cultures lands peoples
a proven track record attests
proves dark cruel consequences
of sowing vengeance hate;

love can heal...
healing may be
a much harder road;
to follow than hate
love requires courage
effort faith forgiveness;

time wisdom...
many cannot exorcism
hate out of their own hearts
blessed are the peacemakers;
despots traditionally kill peacemakers
peace makers are bad for war profits
sometimes peacemakers stop wars
for this crime peace makers are often killed;

ignorance...
anger rage
revenge hate;
hates
pesky enlightened
peacemakers;

violence begot violence...
countless organizations like terror Hamas
taught hate in first breaths mother's
milk spread hate conflict war: peace;
is not a sacred blessing people...
living in conflict zones are likely to enjoy
peace is a luxury people living in privilege
first world countries often take for granted;

when we consider how many
live by the sword, the necessity
of armies in countries around
the globe, how few can make
a living from advocating peace;
then global conflict is not surprising;

the architects
of war have their wealth
invested in wars
peace we few pray for;
people suffering conflict
pray harder more earnestly
than blessed enjoying luxury peace
bleeding split blood more profit war blood;
