Have You Ever?

Poem by Rochelle Sabo

Everytime I think about what life would has been like with you
A sudden sharp pain enters my hearts and fills it black
I think about how I wait up night after night longing for touch
A hand to go across the small of my back as you led me through
I wipe the tear that fell from my eye as it rolls down my cheek
My reflection looks as if I have had my face smeared on the floor
I am angry because I let you make choices for me
Choices that aren't yours to make but you still did
Telling me what I like and make me see this always your way
Making me feel like I am not me anymore but I am you.
My stomach churns
Have you ever been in love with a man that makes you sick?
