Ted, this touched me deeply. I haven't been through any of the experiences through which you have been and your friends/loved ones have been (though to me more importantly you): and I cannot begin to relate. I can only respect. For some or no reason, this brings to my mind, in the skew-wiff state that it is, a line from a Shania Twain song, 'I'd rather die, than live on my knees, saying please'.... and perhaps the opposite of another S Twain song (yeh ok I had it playing in the car' - 'that don't impress me much...' - so. the opposite of the latter. t x
