He Looked At Me Poem by MTHOKOZISI NTOKOZO MAPHUMULO

He Looked At Me

He looked at me
He posed for a moment
I may lie if I can say he touched me
But he may wished to do so
He was not of my favorite type by eye judgment
I am a cautious dark lady who never will try yet another dark
Deep inside me is a fear over sameness of color
But I ever tried those White or rather colored guys
The pride and their self-ego left me vulnerable
With no choice of love
I was torn till I learn to love my more than my mother or father
Even those sweetest love songs melodies became meaningless
That who I am, a special kind of girl
I like what I want and I plan when and how it should happen
But I never told and learn to say no when it is not no and or yes if it not yes
In such a neutral gear I found myself sitting inside a cool piano room
Trying to compose love songs out
In less than an hour a young dark like shiny guy entered a room
I had absolutely no interest over him
He even disturbed for asking to teach him how to play a piano.
He ended up playing up for himself like old Christian band
I was further more bored
But two weeks later
He came to me and ask me to give him just R1
Then he went with me to where we shall play a football
Oh no I gave him 6 -0
Then I asked what was your interest in playing with me
His dark color became darker but s there was that sense of lovely voice and smooth talk
With no sound response he made I go outside
Then the sun shone over us
I saw smooth dark lips
Then it happen that he wnted to make me hear over his music
Our hands touch each other
That was a wind blowing heat and wind blew sothat the skin become smooth
The born fingers lost weight and I could bear the weight of the cellphone
He placed his smooth hips over mine
Then he hugged me
I never said I loved him
But the body actions had already expressed those words
He gave a hottest kiss
It was like I am a virgin
It was like I have never had it before
I am feeling more exalted each and every day
Boy you are my angel
Dark as I am
