There's so much wisdom in a dog-
I wonder why He put it there;
He must have known we'd need a friend,
When our cupboards were quite bare.
There's so much beauty in a tree-
I wonder why He grew it there;
Someone knew we'd need a shade,
To get out of the sun's bright glare.
There's so much wealth found in a man-
I wonder why He left us here;
But all's returning in the end
To brighter regions, far and dear.
