He Was Just A Bloke Poem by Rose Garden

He Was Just A Bloke

Rating: 5.0

He was the bloke
who always had a joke,
Life and soul
of every room,
Jack the lad!
never sad,
or so you think,
then in the blink of an eye
he decided to die.
You didn't see it coming,
he was always humming a happy tune
and smiling.
God, you'd wished he had said
perhaps he wouldn't now be dead.
You see he kept all the pain
inside his head,
too embarrassed to discuss
his mental health issues,
He wasn't the tea and tissues sort.
Yet he needed that port in a storm,
instead he lay dead in his dorm!
