I do not come with fine words or wisdom
I come in weakness, fear and trembling
our faith rests not in words or wisdom
but on God's Spirit, His Power and Calling.

In wisdom they crucified our Lord
with words of ridicule and hate
but by God's spirit He was restored
and, with the Spirit, He will create.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard
no mind conceived what God's prepared
in love He sends His Spirit, His own word
in grace, He gave His only Son, the Holy Living Bread.

His Spirit is the refuge for the righteous
from whose mouth will come true judgement
it reaches out to everyone and everywhere
only the words from the Spirit are Heaven sent.

For, he who accepts the Spirit, accepts the Lord
in spirit you will receive all He has to give
His gifts are many, great is your reward
Receive His Word and wisdom, and begin to Live
