Heavenly Father In the Mighty
Name of Jesus Christ
I humble myself before your
Mighty Throne
This is my prayer of intercession
I come before your Throne of Grace
I come before your Throne of Mercy
Heal the emotionally wounded.

Many are bleeding emotionally
Many have gaping emotional wounds
Some are adding salt to these wounds
Some are ensuring that the wounds don't heal
They constantly go in for the kill
Their words pierce these wounds
Their actions inflame these wounds
They don't comfort the emotionally wounded
Lord heal the emotionally wounded.

The wounds are caused by those wounded themselves
The wounds are caused by the trusted
The wounds are caused by the beloved
These have repeatedly stabbed their hearts
These have repeatedly betrayed their hearts
I pray for emotional healing in Jesus name
Lord heal the emotionally wounded.
