Healthy Ways Of Old Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Healthy Ways Of Old

Skipping through intellect, this inner child doing so and
remembering how when younger this and running would be
done all through childhood.

Why on earth did we leave these good, healthy ways by the
wayside instead of keeping them up, we would still be limber
and agile in our old age had we continued doing so.

Many eighty and ninety-years-old are still dancing all the
time, keeping their joints, lungs, heart and muscles young
and vibrant, more so than those in their forties and fifties.
