Hear It In The Rain - Poem by Sneha Raju
Sipping my coffee I gazed down the lane
When rain drops knocked on my window pane.
I got up from chair so fervently,
As if someone lighted me up magically.
A soulfull tone playing on flute,
Reached my ears and was simply cute.
Running down the stairs so steep,
I could hardly stop my longing so deep.
Unlocked the front door so wide,
And slammed it on the wall by the side.
Stepping in to the puddles so clear,
The lonesome sound was creeping very near.
Spread my hands apart in a dance,
As if in a mighty jungle a deer would prance.
