Heard This Talk Before Poem by Randy McClave

Heard This Talk Before

I heard this talk before
I don't wanna hear anymore,
Him saying that he's a real American
Just because he can.
He said the blacks took his job
And from him the Jews did rob,
And the immigrants that are coming here
They only bring hate, crimes and fear.
I'm tired of hearing them mocking foreign accents
Especially when it's at my country's expense,
I don't wanna hear them ridiculing foreigners mode of pronunciation
In their American nation.
They don't wanna see or hear of another's belief
About Rabbi's, the Pope, or the Muslims speaking of Khalif,
I of course am no politician
But, I am a God fearing Christian.
I see them marching and speaking of hate
People judging and accusing peoples lives and fate,
I heard all this talk once before
When I was in Germany in 1934.
