Dusk slips through and tomorrows view
comes peering on horizons edge
within a sky of tangerine tides
arrives new hope in calms cool pledge

When day is peeled than all's revealed
doubt disappears on mellow rays
for what is lost can soon be found
with the promise of another day

As the soft distance of tomorrows dreams
tread cheerfully on the sinking light
where sorrows shackles sweep away
fresh skies give birth to sweet delights



My mind at ease the city sleeps
the noise of life's a silhouette
washed in bliss of orange shade
bathed beneath the heart of sunset
