I've been down this road before
that leads to broken hearts.
it leaves you in the darkness
wondering how did it even start?
Everyone says it will be okay
but I just want to know why.
I put on this fake smile
when all I really want to do is cry.
It's hard to move on
when I feel so lost.
I need to ease this pain
no matter what the cost.
This loneliness is overwhelming
and it seems to be here to last.
I wanted you in my future
but now your just the past.
I walk down this road
realizing where I made my mistake.
Misery is just the company
that comes along with another heartbreak.
