Hearts Bound To The Beloved Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

Hearts Bound To The Beloved

O light of mercy, Prophet of God,
Your life shines like a guiding star, and your words serve as our compass.
In faith, we lift our hearts, reaching out to love you,
Chosen One, beneath the vast skies above.
Surrounding you were the faithful few,
Hearts devoted, courage radiating through.
Abu Bakr, the first to believe and stand by,
Umar, strong and just, never one to shy.
Uthman, gentle, sharing all he could give,
Ali, the lion, brave and always there to live.
Talha and Zubayr, warriors with a spark,
Sa'd, the archer, leaving his mark.
Abdur-Rahman, generous in every deed,
Abu Ubaidah, honest, a true friend indeed.
Abu Dharr spoke with a fearless heart,
Miqdad and Khalid, warriors set apart.
And the women of faith, with hearts so sincere,
Khadijah, the first, her love crystal clear.
Aisha, wise, keeper of knowledge and lore,
Fatimah, gentle, loved forevermore.
Hafsa and Umm Salama, faithful and true,
Umm Ayman, devoted in all she would do.
Bilal's voice at dawn, calling everyone to prayer,
A heavenly sound filling the morning air.
They poured their souls, their treasures, their might,
Heeding the Prophet's call, steadfast in the fight.
Their hearts shone bright, their faith held strong,
Following the Prophet, living right, loving long.
O hearts of ours, let us rise today,
Follow their path, walk in his way.
Love the Prophet with all our might,
And live in truth, guided by his light.
On the Day of Judgment, may we stand near,
With those who loved him, free from fear.
May our hearts join theirs in love and prayer,
With the Chosen One, in Allah's care.
