Her Symphony Poem by Ridah Ellahi

Her Symphony

My heart beating in my chest,
But it calls out to you.
My tears rolling down my cheeks,
Begging for you to say your love wasn’t true.

My screams bleed,
But my agony has not yet shed.
Must stop this now,
For too long have I bled.

I am deprived of all hope,
I no longer wish to hear your sound.
I close my eyes tight,
Cuz I know there’s no one around.

But I do pray for you to say,
You never really loved me.
Tell me your heart beats for her,
You sway in her symphony.

I no longer wish for a comforting hand;
I do not want to be cared for.
I want you to see what you’ve done to me.
I want you to watch as I fall.

I wonder if I’ll ever get a chance,
To say all the things left unsaid.
But I can’t feel any emotions,
Cuz from the inside, I’m dead.

I stay in the dark cuz I don’t want to see,
The pitiful being that I have become.
Yet I still want you to see me bleed,
Bleed out what you have done.

But I still pray for you to say,
You never really loved me.
Tell me your heart beats for her;
You sway in her symphony.
