Hearts That I Stayed In For Decades Poem by Nick Kler

Hearts That I Stayed In For Decades

Rating: 5.0

Hearts that I stayed in for decades
There is a space that would always be mine
A share that belongs to me
Well within their souls

Thousand misunderstandings
A million fights
Nothing can take that away from me
That would always be mine
Well after my demise

A space that is priceless
Who knows who would grab it
And try to sell it for a dime
Long after I'm gone

But my soul would not rest
I shall come back for them
Those that dared to steal
what was eternally mine

Oh! They would pay for it
With nothing less than their life!
There is a part
That would always be mine
